Opened in 1996, Windlake Elementary School is the K4-3rd grade campus of Seeds of Health Elementary. We are a public charter school authorized by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Windlake Elementary’s certified teachers are highly trained and provide a caring and innovative approach to learning that meets the needs of all students. Our staff specializes in providing the unique, fundamental support necessary for children living in an urban environment.
Windlake Elementary students receive a well-rounded and rigorous curriculum that allows them to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This prepares them to be lifelong learners and successful citizens. Windlake Elementary provides students with a comprehensive elementary curriculum which includes art, music and physical education. Technology is incorporated everyday into their instruction which enhances the students’ learning experience and helps them reach their full potential.
Windlake Elementary School believes that ongoing communication and partnerships with all families is essential for successful learning. In addition to regularly scheduled parent-teacher conferences, parents are encouraged to participate in classroom activities, field trips and a variety of parenting classes offered throughout the school year.
